Using Stigl

Terms of Use

These terms explain your responsibilities, your rights and what to expect when you use Stigl to record training and connect with other athletes.

Last updated:

Joining the launch waitlist is covered by the separate waitlist terms and conditions. The terms below apply to using a Stigl account when account access opens.

Who provides Stigl

Malte Granefelt operates Stigl at stigl.se and through its companion app. These terms apply to the training log, activity sharing, clubs and other features offered through the service.

When you create an account, you agree to these terms. The Privacy policy explains how personal information is processed. Agreement to these terms does not provide consent for optional health processing or marketing.

Your account

Provide information that lets you access and manage your account, keep your sign-in details secure, and do not impersonate another person or use someone else's account without permission. Contact us if you think your account has been compromised. We will never ask you to email your password.

You must be able to accept these terms under the law that applies to you. If a parent or guardian's permission is required to use the service or provide personal information, obtain that permission before creating an account.

You can stop using Stigl at any time. Account settings include options to manage your information and request account deletion. The restoration period and handling of retained information are described in the Privacy policy.

Training information and safety

Stigl helps you record and understand your training. Statistics, route suggestions and training insights are informational and may contain errors or missing data. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Choose training appropriate to your circumstances. Check route access, road conditions, weather and local restrictions before following a suggested route. If you have health concerns, seek advice from a qualified professional.

Keep your own copy of training files you need to retain. Imported data may depend on the source service, file quality and the permissions you grant.

Your content and sharing

You retain ownership of the activities, notes, photos, videos and other content you contribute. Only upload content that you have the right to share, and respect other people's privacy and intellectual property.

You give Stigl permission to store, process, reproduce and display your content as needed to operate the features you choose, including displaying it to the people with access under the service's sharing controls. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated advertising uses of your content.

When you delete content, this permission ends for future use except where copies must remain temporarily in backups or are retained for a lawful purpose described in the Privacy policy. Deleting content cannot remove copies other users have already saved.

Check the sharing information before uploading sensitive material. Activity files, photos and videos currently use public download links; an existing file link can remain accessible when the activity is made private.

Community rules

Use Stigl in a way that respects other members and keeps the service usable. Do not:

  • Harass, threaten or target someone with hateful or discriminatory content.
  • Share illegal material, sexually exploitative content, or another person's private information without a lawful reason.
  • Post spam, scams, deceptive promotions or content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, access private accounts or data, upload malicious files, or interfere with the service through abusive traffic.
  • Misrepresent your identity or fraudulently manipulate activity or community information.

If you find harmful content or a security problem, use the available reporting controls or contact us. Comment image checks can reject an attachment and may make mistakes. You can ask for a review through the contact address below.

Moderation and account restrictions

We may remove content or restrict access where needed to address a breach of these terms, protect members, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us for review. Urgent safety or security concerns may require action before notice.

A restriction is not permission to access someone else's data or to use a new account to bypass the restriction. If you believe a moderation decision is wrong, contact us and identify the relevant content or account without sending your password.

Free features and Premium

Some features require Premium access. Complimentary, development or test access does not create a paid subscription or authorise a future charge.

Before any paid purchase is offered, Stigl must show the seller's details, features included, total price, billing period, any automatic renewal, cancellation method and applicable withdrawal information. A paid subscription requires a separate, clear purchase decision; creating a free account alone does not authorise payment.

Your statutory rights, including any rights to withdraw, complain about a faulty digital service or receive a remedy, are not excluded by these terms. Starting to use a feature does not by itself waive a statutory withdrawal right. Any additional purchase terms must be supplied before purchase.

Connected services

Optional sign-in, health, training and map services are operated by their respective providers and may have their own terms and privacy information. Grant only the permissions you want to use. Disconnecting stops future imports through that connection but does not automatically delete information already imported into Stigl.

Stigl does not guarantee the accuracy or continued availability of a third-party service. This does not remove any responsibility Stigl has under applicable law for the service it provides.

Availability and changes

Features may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance, security work or service outages. We may make changes needed to maintain security, fix errors, support compatibility or improve the service. Material changes to these terms will be explained with a revised date and appropriate notice before they take effect where required.

Changes do not remove rights you already have under a paid agreement or mandatory consumer law. If a change affects a paid service, any required notice, cancellation and other statutory remedies still apply.

Your legal rights and resolving problems

These terms do not limit liability or exclude rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing requires you to give up mandatory consumer protection or bring a dispute only in a country where you do not live.

Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. If you are a consumer in Sweden and a dispute cannot be resolved, you may be able to ask Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) to review it, subject to its eligibility rules. You can also use the competent courts and other remedies available under applicable law.

Contact

For questions about these terms, an account issue, a complaint or a moderation review, contact Malte Granefelt at support@stigl.se. Include enough information to identify the issue, and avoid sending passwords or unnecessary health information.

For personal information requests, see the Privacy policy.

Spring 2027 waitlist terms and conditions

Waitlist terms last updated:

1. Who runs the waitlist

Malte Granefelt operates Stigl and is responsible for this waitlist. Contact support@stigl.se with questions about these terms or your email address.

2. Joining the waitlist

Use an email address that belongs to you, agree to these terms, and choose to receive launch emails. Do not submit another person’s address without their permission or use the form to send spam. We record your email address, the time you join, your launch-email consent and the version of these terms you accepted.

Submitting the same address again does not create another place on the list. Joining does not create a Stigl account or give access to the app. Login and account signup are closed during the waitlist period.

3. The planned launch

Stigl’s launch is planned for spring 2027. The date, available features and access arrangements may change. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a launch date, early access, a particular position in a queue or any specific feature.

There is no payment or purchase commitment. Any terms or pricing for using Stigl at launch will be presented separately before you choose to sign up.

4. Emails and your consent

With your consent, we will use your email address to send updates about Stigl’s launch and tell you when signup opens. This consent is limited to launch communications; it does not subscribe you to an ongoing newsletter or unrelated advertising. We do not send a confirmation email when you join; the form confirms that your address has been saved.

You can withdraw consent and leave the waitlist at any time by emailing support@stigl.se from the address you registered. Every launch email must include a way to unsubscribe. Leaving will not cost anything, and it does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew consent.

5. Your personal information

Your launch-email consent is our legal basis for using your address for this waitlist. Supabase stores the waitlist on Stigl’s behalf. The list is not visible to other visitors, and we do not sell it. We keep waitlist information while the list is active and delete it when launch communications are finished, or earlier if you leave, except for information we are legally required to retain.

Our privacy policy explains who processes information, your rights and how to contact Sweden’s data protection authority. You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting support@stigl.se.

6. Changes or closure

We may update these terms or close the waitlist if our plans change. Updates will appear here with a revised date. We will ask for new consent before using your address for a different purpose. These terms do not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
